We have just released Install Monitor 4.1. The focus was on improving reliability.
There is a new smoother, faster, and more reliable install experience. More details about this will follow in a blog post.
A number of other issues have been fixed:
Fix general crashes/hangs
Fix program options not being saved
Fix issues when using non-default system drive
Improve support tools
Add additional program information about program color
